TOOO Long

It has been way too long since I have posted anything on this blog. Well that is about to change!

So much has been going on... I have started a new company "Mountain Dog Real Estate" as of April 2011. So far everything is going extremely well. With the support of my great clients and family this is going to be a huge success. I know many people say "in this market". But this is the type of market to try new things. New methods of marketing, New companies, New energy. So what do you think of my new logo?

I did not get a chance to post this great photo from early this year. Yes that is a moose looking in my car window! My dogs, Dodger and Keen and I were inside. You can imagine the rucus!

Speaking of wildlife, I just saw a momma fox with two kits. The kits were have so much fun romping around while mom laid in the middle of the street.

Well I will try to be better about my posts. (And I will try to get some photos of the kits!)

Have a "SUNNY" day.

Hi all, last week was crazy. I had the pleasure of participating in the first Grand Park Farmer's Market on July 3rd. I decided to pass out kites to anyone who might like to take advantage of our summer wind and fly it in the meadow. What a day! 165 kites later and lots of smiles. It was a great success! I also gave away a 7 foot patriotic delta kite in honor of the 4th of July and was pleased to see that the winner was out flying it high on the 4th in the meadow. Such great fun and something anyone can participate in.

The farmers market was a success for the first try. 12 vendors sold everything from fresh bing cherries from the western slope to buffalo hot dogs to tie dyed T shirts and fresh bread. This will be happening each Saturday thru Labor Day.

Hi all, alot has happened since my last post. Winter Park Resort has opened for its 70th season, Thanksgiving has come and gone, the Christmas trees for the Lions Club lot have been off loaded and are selling like hotcakes and last but not least the Christmas tree festival was last weekend. This year 24 trees and 1 wreath were decorated by 25 non-profits and sold to the highest bidder. Each tree was then wrapped up and delivered as instructed by the bidder. This year 6 trees were purchased and donated to families in need. Another sign of what a great community this is!

I finally got out and took a few runs. The snow is great for early skiing. A few good cruisers helped to wake up those legs.

2 days and counting....

Only 2 days until Winter Park Resort opens for the 2009/2010 season. Fresh natural snow with snowmaking should start things out right!

Just in time for Winter Park Resort's opening on Wednesday!
